Parts not labeled, but desk looks good when done

Be warned - the individual parts are not labeled. There is no top-side, no left, no right, no abc labels of any kind. BUT, there are teeny, tiny, pre-drilled holes that will come into play LATER in assembly, that if looked for at the beginning, will save you a re-do when you're nearly done. These little holes were not illustrated and nearly invisible, so finding up and down for a piece is impossible, until much later, when you realize (of course) it was upside down. I have put together huge wall units with less effort than this little desk - but the problem was that labeling was absent. The instructions were pretty straight forward but the illustrations were terrible. ONCE together, this desk was nice. If you have a small room, this could fit nicely at the end of a bed, with the bed as the 'chair'. There is no keyboard shelf, just as pictured. It is sturdier than I was expecting. We have no complaints in the final product.

this is supposed to be new i dont think so first of all i ordered it on march 7th and recieved a plain box on march 16th with the product just thrown inside missing pieces
and the product was completlety used the top of the desk is warped like someone spilled water on it.. i called amazon they offered me 11.00 are you for real?

This is a great desk. It was so easy to put together. I didn't even need the instructions. I love it! It's the perfect size to fit anywhere I want to put it and supports my computer and other things with no problem!

Assembling this would have been so-o-o much easier if the instructions were written with more care. Several reassemblies finally got it built. The screws for the brackets were the wrong type and the pre-drills for them were useless. The gluing step(s) were not sufficiently described, and so reassembly to correct for this was required. The coasters for the bottom were shoddily manufactured -- one split and another broke off. (Xmas eve assembly required that I limit my invective to stiffled profanity...)

Have I disheartened you? Well, if you have the patience of a saint and the mind of an engineer, this little item is certainly ideal for a flat-screen PC set-up, with room for the printer on the top shelf and space for books and supplies beneath. In short -- the price is right.

My grandson is putting it to good use.
